I’m very happy! I’m going to be doing research with my chemistry professor. I took his gen chem last semester and recently asked him for a recommendation letter for an internship and he gladly wrote me one, and basically asked me if I wanted to work in his lab. I’m so excited! He said he could tell from my work that I’m a determined person (of course I am!) and I study very hard. We’ll be doing three hours a week trying to find out how many lactones or carbon-carbon double bonds are in butter. We’re going to use actual lab equipment which I can’t wait to do. I’m going to take a short lab safety session so I think it’s going to be pretty intense. I like this professor. He definitely has a good head on his shoulders and I’m so honored to be able to work with him. In the lab!!!!
